Robert Downard - Managing Director
With over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, Robert has been the driving force behind Rickett Baldwin for over 20 years. His illustrious career began in 1984 at Sun Alliance, before transitioning to broking with Bowring Professional Indemnity (PI) in 1987. Robert's expertise grew as he ventured into underwriting with ITT London and Edinburgh, where he specialised in PI. By 1992, he became a Field Underwriter covering the Southeast of England. After another brief period in broking, Robert joined Rickett Baldwin as a Director in 1997. In 2005, Robert took full ownership of Rickett Baldwin and has since built a loyal client portfolio based on trust, reliability and unrivalled industry knowledge.
